At last, he's got an 'ology!"Who are the brains behind Wordology?", we hear you ask. Well, there's only one. The brain of Russell Hood. Having studied for many years at the University of Life, Russell, to his mother's clear delight, recently gained a First in Wordology, the art of writing copy for advertising agencies, PR agencies and design studios, as well as for clients direct. Russell says of the course, "It's been a long slog, but well worth
it. Having a blue-chip grounding in design and all aspects of agency
life gives me a lot of credibility as a copywriter. I always tend to
think in pictures while writing the words, which means Having recently commenced a major thesis on 'The Lack of Punctuation
in the 21st Century' (see previous page), Russell admits that it's unlikely
ever to be finished because describing punctuation, rather than actually
using it, rendered the whole thing impossible to write, let alone read.
Instead, he concludes, "I shall divert my efforts and enthusiasm into
working for clients, who I hope will be inspired by the examples of
my work on this site."
